Additional RAM
What does ?additional RAM? mean? How could you assign extra RAM memory to your virtual or dedicated server?
The more physical memory your Virtual Private Server has, the more apps you shall be able to run concurrently. Some programs require loads of RAM even if nothing else is running on the web server, even though they may not demand high Processor speeds or lots of disk space. In case your server runs out of memory, it'll stop responding and the Internet sites and the offline apps you host on it shall not work effectively, as their software components won't load since there will not be any free memory. In this light, we offer a RAM upgrade for our Virtual private server plans, so if you detect that your machine is close to the limit, you may take advantage of this upgrade without upgrading the whole package and paying for resources that you won't use. In this way, you'll be able to ensure the proper performance of your scripts and stop concerning that your website visitors shall see errors or will not be able to open your sites at all.
Additional RAM in VPS Servers
Additional physical memory may be added to any of the VPS hosting service which we offer, including the top-end ones, therefore your Internet sites will function correctly all the time. The upgrade is offered both on the order page and in the billing area, so you'll be able to add it when you require it: before your web server is ready - in case you know your sites will require additional memory, or after the server is operational - in the event that you notice that the default memory is not enough for all the websites to function adequately. In the second case, the amount of RAM you obtain will be added to the current configuration with no activity required on your end and without any VPS shutdown or restart, so there won't be any downtime for your websites. The upgrade is available in increments of 128 MB and you shall be able to include as much memory as you'd like, simply because the physical servers offer enough system resources to permit the virtual servers to be upgraded tremendously.
